Job Description and Duties

The Department of State Hospitals-Napa has a full time, limited term with the possibility of becoming permanent vacancy for Clinical Social Worker (Health/Correctional Facility) (Safety). 

 Provide assistance in all phases of the social work program, with an emphasis on liaison with the Conditional Release Program (CONREP); collect data and prepare applications and reports necessary to obtain benefits and community resources for patients; assist in performing casework duties and group activities; and perform other related work. Incumbents ensure public property is protected and safe. In addition, incumbents will respond to emergency situations as trained in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI).
